We’re excited to share that Sellet CEO, Lindsay Telles, was recently featured in COO Insider’s expert roundup, “25 Dashboard and Visualization Tools That Transform Operational Decision-Making.”
The article brings together business leaders from across industries to explain how they use dashboards to spot problems, improve efficiency, and make faster decisions. Lindsay shared a behind-the-scenes look at one of the systems that has made a meaningful difference in how we manage campaigns at Sellet Media: the live client dashboards our team built around the information we actually need each day.
Building the Visibility We Needed
At Sellet Media, we manage campaigns with a lot of moving parts. Budgets change, traffic sources perform differently, lead volume fluctuates, and lead quality can shift quickly.
We didn’t want our team or our clients waiting for a manually prepared report to understand what was happening. We wanted the important information available in one place, updated throughout the day and easy to act on.
Our dashboards connect directly to our reporting platform through an API and refresh every hour. They show campaign budgets and pacing, daily lead volume, spend by traffic source, cost per lead, and lead quality.
That visibility helps us catch potential issues early. We can see when a campaign is nearing its budget, when lead volume is falling behind expectations, or when one traffic source is producing weaker results than the others. From there, we can investigate and make adjustments instead of discovering the problem after the campaign has ended.
As Lindsay shared with COO Insider:
“Everyone works from the same numbers, clients always know what to expect, and the team can make faster decisions.”
Better Data Creates Better Conversations
The dashboards do more than save our team time. They also make our client relationships stronger.
When everyone can see the same current information, conversations become clearer and more productive. We spend less time tracking down numbers or reconciling separate reports and more time discussing what the results mean and what we should do next.
That transparency is important to us. Our clients trust us with their budgets and their campaigns, and we believe they should have a clear view of how those campaigns are performing.
We also know that a dashboard is only useful when it helps someone make a decision. We don’t build reports simply to display more data. We focus on the measurements that tell our team whether a campaign is healthy, where it may need attention, and which opportunities are worth pursuing.
A Team Effort
The systems Lindsay discussed in the article reflect how our entire team approaches operations at Sellet Media. We pay close attention to the details, look for ways to improve our processes, and build tools when an off-the-shelf solution does not give us what we need.
Technology makes it possible to work faster, but the real value comes from knowing what to measure and how to respond. The dashboards give us visibility. Our team’s experience, judgment, and communication turn that information into action.
We’re grateful to COO Insider for including Lindsay in this conversation and giving us the opportunity to share a practical example of how Sellet Media uses data to serve our clients more effectively.
