We’re excited to share that our CEO, Lindsay Telles, was featured by Marketer Magazine in its article, “Make Budget Calls When Marketing Attribution Is Messy.”
The feature brings together 25 marketing leaders to explain how they make sound budget decisions when reporting systems do not tell a perfectly clean story. Lindsay’s advice centers on something we believe strongly at Sellet Media: business outcomes matter more than busy-looking reports.
Before increasing spend, Lindsay looks for clarity around three fundamentals: who is responding, which sources are producing qualified prospects, and whether the offer, funnel, and sales process are capable of converting additional demand. If those pieces are not aligned, adding more budget can simply amplify inefficiency.
When the fundamentals are working, imperfect attribution does not have to prevent action. We can confidently direct more budget toward the sources consistently generating the strongest qualified opportunities, even when every channel-level signal does not line up perfectly.
As Lindsay puts it, that is how a campaign “earn[s] the right to scale” rather than relying on volume alone to produce better results.
